Yep, no more stupid attribute modifiers.

That means there's no more grinding for x5's. Which was TES' biggest flaw up to now. According to their devs, Skyrim is also going to have five times more quests than fallout 3.

There were some conflicting reports between Peter Hines and Todd Howard on this one. Still, the range of what they're saying goes from awesome to mega-awesome.

If it's going to be 5x fallout, it'll come out to about 150 quests (Not sure if this includes random encounters). However, it's also been said that Skyrim has more quests than Oblivion (which has 200). So it's probably somewhere in the 150-200 range.

Bethesda has claimed that they tested Skyrim and that they stopped testing for gameplay hours and they stopped testing at about 300 hours of gameplay (Compared to the 200 they said Oblivion had).

Also remember, that they're putting a lot of content into Skyrim which isn't technically a quest, such as tavern brawls (They actually developed a tavern brawling system for hand to hand) and other miscellaneous activities and there's going to be about 500 locations on the map.

Oblivion has 200 quests?

And yaaay, no more merchantile skill that needs to be trained by selling arrows one at the time. Which was such an epic pain on the pc.

In a Skyrim Developers vs. Q&A tester speed run, it took 2hr 16mins to beat the game.

It took about 1hr 19 to speed run oblivion in comparison when they sped run that, so that's mighty crazy for Devs to take that long to beat a game they know all inside out.

Though sometimes game developers suck at their own game. Though that's probably why C&C 4: Tiberian Twilight sucked horribly.

I won't be getting Skyrim since I want some other games before it though my dad will probably will get it. lol
