Need Cosplay Ideas! Help!! D:

I've been trying to decide on an anime character (or a character from a manga or a game) to cosplay as. I've gone around and asked my friends only to realize that hardly any of them are otakus or even have an idea as to what cosplay is. *facepalm*
So, i thought "Who better to ask than the peeps on GO?!?!"
I am trying to go for someone who I somewhat resemble (because, let's face it, we have all seen people go all out with the wigs, accessories, etc. and still not look a thing like the person they are trying to cosplay as) so here is a pic of me...

Perferably, I would like for the character to be female, who shares the same eye color and/or the same hair color as me. (If not then that is ok.) In the picture my eyes are blue but they are mainly green.

I Love Saber!!! I was actually thinking about cosplaying as her, but realized how low my funds were and was not able to purchase the costume and wig but im still looking for a cheaper version of her costume and maybe doctoring it up myself if its a bit off.

I agree with shinn. I think Saber would be a good pick. And if you have trouble getting the costume you could try the suit Saber.

@lili Would dying your hair be an option?

Thanks for all of the suggestions you guys. I think i finally made a decision. I may just end up doing Touru from Asura Cryin, simply because we share the same eye color, hair color, and even hair style, it's easier. I know that makes me seem lazy, but the less materials i have to purchase the better, because I am extremely short on funds. I really really wanted to do Saber because she is one of my favorite characters...EVER!!! T~T but i simply can't afford it right now. grrrr!!! curse this horrible economy!!! D: With Touru's cosplay I already have everything I would need besides the costume. Thanks again for your suggestion guys and @Muragoeth I will be sure to post pics of the cosplay when I'm done with it in this thread.
