This story has been out for a while, but I can't seem to wrap my head around it. Magibon, also known as MRirian, is a youtube sensation from Pennsylvania , with her videos reaching over a million views. She's not exactly too viral, but the majority of those views have all come from the same place....Japan. So what has this girl in her mid 20's from Pennsylvania done to attract so much attention from the Otaku captiol of the world? *Yes, you read that right...she's in her mid twenties.*

Apparently, nothing.
She stares into the camera, makes cutesy faces, and says some basic japanese phrases.
All of her videos are like this. In a way I can see why she catches Japan's attention, she mimics a manga character's persona very well and seems to have their own facial expresses down to a science. Magibon has made it so big in Japan that she won a trip there to be interviewed mulitple times, she has done photoshoots and even has had her face on a billboard.

i think my brain just melted after watch 10 secs of one video. just like you said it is most likely because of her manga/anime-like timid expression that catches the attention of otakus there. different people have different tastes lol.

lol xD yeah. I still can't get over that she is about 25 years old and looks about half her age.
