I was excited for this game when my friend told me about the interesting multiplayer system, but I didn't realize that it was completely luck-based, and there was no way to actually invite your friends. Pretty disappointing.

Overall, I get the impression that "fun" was an after-thought to the designers. Still, it's a pretty fun game, ignoring the parts where the lack of polish is obvious.
