I Got Fired

Well, there goes my two and a half years of hard work. Yesterday I was informed that I will be subjected to "disciplinary actions" due to some weird reason. Once behind closed doors, they said they are dropping the axe.

What happened? Last December an investigation from another department was conducted based on my manager's complaints. And now after a month, I got axed for that reason plus some new allegations that I wasn't informed of earlier. I asked for proof but I wasn't given any.

Am I sad? You bet, because I won't be having any money. Also, I realized I like working at that place even though there are a few bad eggs. Unfortunately, they don't like me that much lol. I guess it is really hard to trust people at any given workplace. They're really nice and all at you but they will not hesitate to kick you out.

Anyway, what this means is you will see more often online in GO for a week or two while I look for a new job. I know I haven't been updating stuff as frequent as you guys would like. Many thanks to the GO krew Noctis, Snipera and skyfish for diligently updating our media.

    i have the same experience in my first job, and it's really sad to be snipped out after giving all we could in our job, but sometimes office politics is really the dirt that makes the bad friction inside the office. and as my girl said it, if you are no longer happy with your happy, better find another one that will give you some fulfillment.

    That's how life works. I myself got fired just last month. Just hate it just having thought about what happened . But whats done is done. We're on the same boat Daemon. Am still job hunting. Hoping to have a good harvest soon. ( Reply to this )

    This is why I really like my current job. I work from home. I can surf on my personal laptop as much as I like and do work on my work laptop.

    My boss only cares that the job is getting done, I'm pulling in revenue, and the customers are happy. I even got a top notch annual review last month.

    I will bust my ass to never work in an office ever again. I even sold my 2nd car that I never have to drive to work. The wife and I paid off all our debts so now even she's a stay at home wife (aka personal assistant).

    lol ive never been fired. but i was asked to leave because i became a liability to the company. there were some contract issues or something so. . . they paid me to quit LoL
    and it was quite a bit of money that why i dont work atm and just concentrate on school and personal life

    I don't know whether I should feel good or bad for you. The reason behind the good would be the fact that I would definitely do not want to work in place full of backstabbers like that. The bad feeling would be for that it's hard to leave a place that you have worked for long time. But looks like now we are going to have you more with us due to this which is definitely a good thing.     Hmmm, come to my company. As long as your work is done on the deadlines (Which are a little tight) they don't care if you browse.

    Shit Happens.... seriously, sometimes just when we think that we won't get caught or even for something that we didn't even do(intentionally or un-intentionally) we get to be the sacrificial lamb. and for odd reasons at that too..... lol reminds me of the times I got caught in school for stupid reasons.

    well dude that s kinda tragic but if we think a little bit at the purpose of some that try to find desperatly a cause to justify their useless existence some of those that dont have to get involved in the process is kinda normal it goes with the functonment of our so called perfect yet kinda rotten society what can i, tell hopefully ull get a good job to compensate the one that u just lost and as a final tip nothin aint sure hundred percent in this existence nothing at all :sigh: ( Reply to this )

    Ive been layed off and fired so I know what its like to get my arse booted to the curb.
    Nearly got forced to join the Police but I refused and lost my benefits so ive been working as a Janitor for about half a year now. Its not that bad TBH... >_> (Not exactly what I envisioned how my life would turn out but it can ALWAYS be worse)
