Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao won against Miguel Cotto by TKO in the 12th round. Here's the 12th round account by USA Today: Round 12 Pacquiao chases Cotto and goes in for the kill, but before he can, the referee calls the fight and it ends on a 12th round TKO for Pacquiao, who makes history by winning his seventh belt in his seventh different weight class.     There won't be a Pacquiao vs Marquez match since Mayweather defeated Marquez.

    The only eligible fighters left to fight Pacquiao are Chavez (if he drops some weights), Mosley (if Bob Arum wants so), and Mayweather (if the split is 60-40 with Pacquiao 60 Mayweather 40

    Cotto tried Mayweather tactics on Pacquiao but it failed. Maybe if during round 1 he started Mayweather tactics but Pacquiao won't move to counter such tactic and Cotto has long reach yet for one punch he delivered Pacquiao countered 5-14 times.     ( Reply to this )

    cotto lacks the courage to continuously land hard strike to pacman, and sorry to say that pacman speed make cotto so relentlessly uneasy..and if pacman push a little harder cotto could just be on the same situation as that of hatton.

    though i lost in my bet, im very proud of pacman for the great fight. he deserved an honor for us Fiipinos. and he's the model of our nations, struggling yet willing to get hurt just to move on. I just wish pacman will give up his dream to become a politician. It's just a no-win situation for his kind.     ( Reply to this )

    he's the highest paid boxer of the world todate, and fourth place among the richest sportsman of the year (the first is still Tiger Woods)...but i think if manny pacman will live in US he could earn more in endorsement just like Tiger Woods. TOday he's international endorsements is only that of Nike..

    but on sidesweep issue, he's having trouble with his wife for bringing with him Pacman own's leading lady in his upcoming local movie Wapakman. lol

    I'm actually STILL impressed of him(PAC-MAN)
    but despite of his BOxing career.
    his mom want's him to stop boxing,and i don't preety much
    like him to sing,He is from visayas(The middle "Archipelago-like part of the Pilippines")he's accent is not THAT bad in english
    but in tagalog,Ehhhhh not so much..
