Capcom has just announced the long awaited Resident Evil 6. With the announcement comes a story synopsis and a trailer. The reveal is finally here!
Resident Evil 6 brings iconic characters Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield into the same game. Leon’s fight will pit him against his personal friend: the president of the United States, while Chris encounters a B.O.W. threat in China. There appears to be some new characters as well–that look playable– but their names have not been revealed. It seems that Leon and an unknown partner will be fighting in one part of the world while Chris will be doing the same in various areas in China.
The game will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 20th, 2012 (PC version to follow). Expect the game to have co-op, an over the top story, the ability to finally walk and shoot, and a bunch of new combat skills. Did I just see Leon do a slide-shot?

Yay i got mention, but giving out more info to you is that.
Not too much is known about the story as of now. The game takes place ten years after the Raccoon City incident (providing that the trailer description was correct, this would take place before August 2009) and takes place in various places around the world. Leon Kennedy has a story focusing on the United States – the President is about to come clean over bioterrorism when he himself mutates into something else. Leon is informed by Hunnigan that he has to rescue a town that has over 90% of its population infected – some 75,000 people. Chris Redfield has his own story, which takes place in an Asian city. In both of these places, there have been incidents of bioterrorism. Also, the main antagonist is a unknown woman in Chris Redfield’s story as he is seen in the trailer arguing with Beards Nevence about said woman. It is also known that there are bioterrorist attacks taking place at random all over the world.
I will also like to add that the bald guy is also a character who will be playable, along side him, is. Yes if you can tell and look closely, it’s Ashley from RE4.

I’ll wait for a price drop before picking this one up. I have many other games on my schedule. Besides, it’s a long way before the release date.
